About Range.Run
Range.Run was born from the needs of an experienced developer who was still a newcomer to DeFi (liquidity pools, lending & borrowing, bridges, staking, yield engineering, etc). At the time, he struggled to find intuitive tools for running simulations and actively monitoring his on-chain operations.
While the core math on DeFi is similar across platforms, things like fees, slippage models, interest rates, token behaviors, etc, may vary significantly across platforms, networks and protocols. Monitoring multiple on-chain positions across different platforms quickly became essential. So did real-time alerts, as they help define both permanent and impermanent losses and influence the average price of the assets in a position.
Range.Run was created to deal with these challenges.
Professional Grade Services, not a "solo"
Although born from a personal project, Range.Run is already a platform supported by a formal IT company (RG1M CCI LTD, based in Alphaville, Barueri SP, Brazil, 06453-020) which is technically and legally responsible for all RangeRun's operations.
The platform offered here is
designed for professional grade use cases. Hosted on AWS with high redundancy, smart firewalls, modern software architecture, strong InfoSec, and a highly scalable server infrastructure. Obviously, information security and privacy issues are top priorities within our IT engineering. Please visit the
PRIVACY & DEV page for further information.
What about "credits"? Free for a while?
Each query on each blockchain can scan several terabytes of data. Imagine this happening every minute, across thousands DeFi positions. This is costly, regardless mainaining own nodes for RPCs (Remote Procedure Calls = data queries) or hiring third-party services (like Infura, SubGraph, QuickNode, GetBlock, Ankr, etc).
Our "credit" system makes usage REALLY CHEAP. Less than 3USD per YEAR (per DeX account). Important: Rates tends to decrease as volume increases. At least we cover our costs, as we don't make any profit. We don't spend a single cent on advertising, while we channel the "Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)" into credits through influencers and social media networks.
Follow us to get plenty of credits!
